Family Camp at Fort Wilderness

We were fortunate enough to be able to spend the week at our church's family camp at Fort Wilderness.  About 250 people from our church took the 5 hour drive to northern Wisconsin for a fun filled week.  It is a time of relaxation, spiritual growth, and relationship development with others from the church.  Our family truly enjoyed our time there!

We stayed in the Buffalo cabin.  Hannah thought that it was fabulous to sleep in a bunk bed and to have so many beds to pretend to sleep in.  She did manage to fall out of bed the first night.  Fortunately we had put a mat on the ground so she did not fall on the concrete floor.
These pictures look so innocent, but five minutes later Hannah was pushing Chloe and she cut her head open.

Our little Miss Ballerina
Chloe loved the chairs outside of our cabin.
The girls especially loved the time on the beach building sand castles.
The girls loved riding the horses.  At the beginning of the week Chloe would not go near the horses because she was so scared that they would lick her, but by the end of the week she did not want to get off of them.  Andy and I also were able to do a trail ride together.  Unfortunately our ride got rained out, but we enjoyed the time that we did have on the ride.

On the way home we went to Lark Toys and to Nelson Cheese Factory.  The girls had a great time.  They were so well behaved in the toy store.
The girls had fun trying on the different hats.
