October 2012

Kathy, our new nanny, made birthday cookies to celebrate my birthday.  Then Hannah and Andy made frosting to decorate them.  I had a fun birthday.  We had a family day.  We went to the Rochester Children's museum and out for lunch. Then we had a game night with some friends.
Chloe just looking cute as usual :)
Lily enjoying the wagon and we were playing around with our new camera.  She is a good subject.
Hannah helping Daddy rake the yard
The girls had so much fun playing in the leaves.

I'm not sure how much Lily liked "playing" with the girls, but she is always a good sport about things.

The girls dressed up for Halloween.  They only went to 3 houses Trick or Treating before Hannah went to church. Chloe helped Mom hand out candy.
Lily was not impressed by the skunk costume

We went to see Tiffany, Chris, and David.  They had super cute costumes.

Fall 2012

Lily at 2 months old

She is such a happy baby.

We tried to make it to the apple orchard as often as we could this year.  The girls loved picking and eating the apples.

We went with Chris, Tiffany, and David to Apple Ridge apple orchard in Mazeppa.
Hannah, Chloe, and their cousin, David
Hannah's first day of preschool this year.  She is at Kingdom Kids again this year.  Her teachers are Mrs. Schlotthauer and Mrs. Oak.
She is going Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Chloe was really excited about Hannah's first day of preschool.  I think that she wanted to join Hannah at school.

Chloe was pretending to be going to school.
I just loved Chloe's hair during her bath.
Lily with her friend, Nora.  Their moms are hoping that they become best friends as they grow up.
While Andy's parents were visiting, we went to the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN.

Andy's mom with a real eagle.
Chloe in the "Eagle nest"
They had an informative program about the Eagles that live in the Wabasha area.  It was a very good program.

Washington Family Trip

We had a wonderful family vacation to Washington.  We spent a week with everyone at Andy's parent's house.  Everyday was filled full of adventures and fun.  Part of the reason we went out there was to celebrate Andy's dad's retirement!  We had a very nice retirement party for him one day.

Notice how most of the kids are smiling. Just look at the picture below :)

 Lily at almost 2 months

Hannah was so cute while we were taking pictures.  She was loving it.
Hannah and Chloe are the best of friends.

This picture says so much about their personalities, Hannah and her cousin, Mary.  Hannah is definitely full of energy and life :)

The girls cousins loved playing all together all week. The swing was a popular hang-out spot.

One of the days we went to a ranch to ride horses.
Hannah loved it, her sister however . . .
was not nearly as impressed.  We figured out at almost the end of the ride that she was just hungry.  After I told her we would give her a snack when we were done, she was a new kid.
We went to Rosario Park.   The kids loved climbing on the driftwood and building a house.
We also went to Deception Pass and the ocean.  It was a very fun day.  We had lots of quality time outside.
One of the days we went to Olympic National Park for the day.  Another national park towards our goal.  Unfortunately this was not the best experience for Cassie as she was very sick while we were driving.
It was still worth the drive.  The pictures do not do this place justice.  It was so beautiful.

We took a little hike at Olympic Park.

On the last day that we were flying out, we went to the Seattle Children's Museum.  It was a great place for the kids and even the adults :)

We had fun building in the lego room.
We can't just take pictures of the happy moments.  Chloe threw herself on the ground because we would not let her play with the little legos.
Going on vacation :)
We spent a ton of time at the museum.  The kids loved each and every room.  Hannah really liked pretending she owned a restaurant.
