Hannah's first birthday

On Hannah's actual birthday, my mom, Tiffany, Andy, Hannah, and I went to the park for a picnic lunch.

Andy and Tiffany were able to go super high. Hannah liked watching them.

Mother like daughter

For dinner, we had Mr. Pizza's. Hannah ate it on her special 1st birthday plate, although the plate only stayed on her tray for so long.

Then came the cake. . . .

At first she just played with the frosting
and got it all over her hands and arms, but then she realized . . .
This is really good.

So after she ate a lot of frosting, she decided to share with Daddy.

As you can see, she really enjoyed the experience.

That night, she got to open a couple of presents. She thought that it was a really good seat.

Then she really did get a Princess chair from her grandma Klendworth. She loves to sit in it, although she had the strangest way of sitting in it at times.
Then on Saturday, June 6th, we had a birthday celebration with family and friends. We all had a great time!

Once again, Hannah loved the cake and frosting.

Bridget and Madeleine

The kids loved the balloons

They also loved the "It's Fun to be One" beachball. It was bigger than Hannah, but she loved to carry it around with her.

Us with Hannah's two grandmas. She loved getting to see both of them and play with them. It was such a treat for everyone.

She had to read some of her books right away. She just loves books. She has even started saying the word book.

She also received a lot of great puzzles.

Hannah with her farm set. She loves to carry the animals all over the house. We have found some of them in the strangest places.

The two cousins

Hannah received a Dora cell phone from her Grandma Kumpel. It is even programmed to say "Hola Hannah".

Random pictures from this Spring

Hannah and I took a short trip back to Illinois to visit family.

Hannah playing with her new walking toy. She was cruising with it.

Hannah was trying to help feed Ayden her bottle.

Mom got the girls matching shirts on her cruise.

Grandma with the two girls.

Hannah used Ayden as an object to be able to stand up. For the most part, Ayden did not seem to mind too much.

Ayden is such a little ham. She smiles super big whenever the camera comes around, unlike Hannah who hides most of her smiles. It is so cute.

Hannah showing off her great hair style!

I love the tongue!

Hannah loved getting to run around in just her diaper. Doesn't she look like she is up to trouble?

She is only 11 months in this picture and is already trying to climb up on the furniture. She succeeded one day when she used the pillows as a stepping stool.

Climbing once again. She empties all of the toys out and then uses the basket as a toy.

Hannah moved on to the climbing up on the dishwasher. She really likes to help unload the dishes. She hands me one dish at a time. Hopefully she will want to do the dishwasher when she is older.

Hannah loves to go to the park to swing.

Sometimes she makes the funniest faces.
