A New Year

I don't have a lot of pictures from 2009. I guess that I need to get my camera out more, but I thought that I would post some updates on Hannah's progress. She seems to be growing more and more every day and doing more "tricks" all the time. Yesterday, she went from her back to sitting up. She has also started crawling more, but mostly just going backwards. Hannah does not quit moving, she rolls all around to get where she wants to go. You have to keep a close eye on her. I can only imagine how fast she will be when she is walking. She is working on a couple more teeth right now. They have not popped through yet, but they are close. She is also talking a lot more. It sounded like she said "Dada" a few times, but it hasn't been too consistent. She definitely likes to laugh a lot :) I guess that she gets that from me. Hannah is definitely a joy in our lives every day.

Christmas Day

Christmas day started out at my mom's house. We had breakfast and opened presents. Hannah got a little head start because she took a little longer and had a ton of presents to open. Her stocking itself was bigger than her as you can see in one of the pictures below. Then we went over to Grandpa and Grandma Klendworth's house for lunch followed by ping pong and pool tournaments. Andy finally lost in the doubles ping pong for the first time since he joined the family. Of course, he still won singles :) We also do stockings, have a birthday party for Jesus, and make homemade pizzas. It is a day filled with traditions, family, and fun!! I look forward to it every year!

Hannah with her cousin Ayden. Hannah just wanted to pull the tinsel from the tree.

Hannah opening one of her boxes of presents. She was very interested.

Jeff, Tiffany, and Chris.

Hannah is excited with anticipation of what is in the giant red bag!!

She was very pleasantly surprised by the giant panda from her Uncle Cam and Aunt Jessi.

She wasn't that excited to share her new toy with her cousin

Hannah with her giant stocking. Not the best picture, but you get the idea :)

Great grandpa and Hannah

Looks like he still has "the touch" after all these years.

Hannah's practicing for when she is big and can join in all of the games at Great Grandpa and Grandma Klendworth's house.

Still enjoying the tree.

Christmas Eve

Hannah's first Christmas.
With a new baby in the house, we have been thinking of new traditions that we would like to start as a family. So for now we have decided that on Christmas Eve we will do gifts at our house in the morning. For gifts, we decided that every year we will all get new pajamas and a family game and Andy insisted that we have oranges in our stockings. Then in the evening we will go to church for the Christmas Eve service. Then travel to Erie for Christmas day and all of the traditions that we have there.
Although, We are planning on going to Washington for Christmas next year. I have already been preparing myself :) It will be nice to see Andy's family for Christmas since we have been with my family every year since we have been married.

Here is our little family all dressed in pink for the Christmas Eve service

Hannah loved opening presents. She really just liked playing with the wrapping paper.

We had to use the nuk sometimes or she would try to eat the paper :)
