A day of adventures

This was a busy day for our family. It was a day of firsts for all of us.
We started our day of adventure at the Minnesota State Fair. Then we went to the Como Zoo.
We ended the night at the drive in movie theater. We saw "Wall-E" and "Kung-fu Panda". Hannah and I slept through most of the second movie. We aren't used to being up so late :)

A few random pictures

Tired baby

She loves to play with her toy. She likes to talk to it.

Holding the bottle all on her own. It is a little crazy since she has only had a bottle a few times.

Hannah's baby dedication

We had Hannah's baby dedication on August 23rd. We were very happy with how it went. Pastor Steer did a very nice job of making it very personal. He talked about the challenges, along with the joys of raising and being a "PK". Hannah did pretty well throughout. She was a little tired, but was a trooper.

Our small group joined in celebrating with us after church at Victoria's. My mom and sister were also able to come be there for the dedication.

She is just so sweet. I can't get enough of her!!!

Family Camp in Northern Wisconsin

Hannah loved family camp. She loved all of the wonderful people holding her and spending lots of time in the great outdoors.

Carpetball tournament

Andy played carpetball with Hannah in the carrier. She did not seem to mind one bit, as you can see from the picture below.

Selah loves Hannah.

"Camping is very relaxing"

Andy, along with 5 college kids, pulled this boat in from the middle of the lake. It was for fun. The boat was working. They did it as a team building activity.

Andy perfected the front flip and back flip off of the rope swing. He was very proud!
Andy and I got to go sailing with Paul and Peggy McDonald. It was so much fun, even after we managed to flip the boat upside down. Here is a picture of them trying to get it turned back over.

Wisonsin trip

Our first stop on our trip was to visit Madison. We went down State Street to go shopping and have lunch. We ate at a cute Italian cafe. We also went on a tour of the capital.

Hannah liked her visit to the capital. She was really smiling.

Here is the waterfront in downtown Madison.

We went with Larry and Peggy to the lake in Racine to go walking

2nd trip to Erie

Myndee and I got to spend some time together with our two girls. It was a lot of fun. Jaya loved swimming and drinking the water :) Hannah, on the other hand, was not very impressed with the pool. She cried very loudly! Hopefully by next year she will like to go swimming.
